“Rule No. 1: Never lose money.
Rule No. 2: Never forget rule No. 1.”
— WARREN BUFFETT
Ken & Wind Yue, a husband-and-wife team, began investing in real estate by purchasing single family houses and investing passively in multifamily properties. Their roots are as investors. Therefore, doing what is best for their investors is the way they conduct business.
Their investment approach is to focus on stabilized assets with a light value-added component. "Putting Investors First" means they strive to protect investor's money first, and the rate of return on an investment comes second. That is why they focus on stabilized properties at good locations that still have a light value-added component — a stabilized asset provides safety and immediate cash flow, while the light value-added component provides a capital gain by increasing the value of the property.
Since 2009, Ken & Wind Yue have purchased over 70 single family houses, sponsored over 4,000 units in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and have asset managed over $400 million worth of multifamily real estate. Through syndication, investors have invested more than $190 million in their projects.
Ken C. Yue has a background in engineering. Ken worked successfully on some of the most complicated computer software projects in the defense and telecommunication industry. Ken specializes in problem solving, improvising, and getting results. Ken has built a portfolio of apartment complexes valued over $400 million since 2014. He received his Master of Science degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science from Clemson University, where he graduated cum laude.
Wind S. Yue has a background in sales. While in Hong Kong, Wind started out as a sales representative for AXA Insurance Company. In 2004, Wind won the Sales Director of the Year award for her outstanding leadership and sales skills. Wind managed multi-million-dollar accounts and supervised over 100 sales agents. Wind has used her leadership and organizational skill to raise more than $190 million of equity since 2014.
